It is hard to believe that this is a Disney film. There are some filming errors in the movie as we can see shadows of the crew as well as some of the wires holding up the robots.

Nevertheless, there are some stunning space scenes, with large clusters of stars including some very good scenes which include the space ship Cygnus, this very well designed ship. The ship exploration scene is quite impressive and the control tower is quite remarkable for the 1970s.

The film reminds you of a modern intergalactic version of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

One of the best parts is played by Maximilian.

This is considered one of the classics in the sci-fi world.
