Just
before Peter Preston dies on the operating table, he grabs
Kirk's tunic, leaving a blood spot. The blood spot changes shape
and location when Kirk is on the bridge in the following scene.
Kirk wears his new reading
glasses while inside the Regula asteroid. A second later, they
disappear without a trace.
Star Trek III : The
Search for Spock
The Enterprise has much more
external battle damage, for example there are additional scars
and patches on the saucer, engineering hull, and nacelles at the
beginning of this film than it did at the end of The Wrath of
Khan.
The
security graphic showning Spock's quarters being occupied in the
beginning of the film clearly depict the Enterprise in its pre-refit,
Original Series, configuration. This is most notable in the
engine nacelles.
Star Trek IV : The
Voyage Home
Scotty is shown in this movie
holding the rank of Commander, even though he was promoted to
Captain in Star Trek III.
The whalers speak Finnish
even though Finland is not a whaling nation.
The bridge of the Klingon
Bird-of-Prey that the crew used in the film is different than
the bridge shown in Star Trek III, though it is supposed to be
the same vessel.
Star Trek V : The
Final Frontier.
During the scene where Kirk
was climbing El Capitan when Kirk initially falls from the rock
and when Spock catches him he is seen wearing a blue shirt,
however while he is actually falling he can be seen wearing a
black shirt.
Star Trek VI : The Undiscovered
Country
The color of Klingon blood in
the assassination scene aboard Kronos One is depicted as pink.
In Star Trek The Next Generation and later representations it
appears red.
Star Trek :
Generations
In the scene prior to Picard
beaming down to Veridian III, he agrees to a prisoner exchange
with Lursa and B'Etor in which he will take the place of the
kidnapped Geordi La Forge. He requests that he be beamed aboard
the Klingon vessel and then transported to the surface "so that
he may speak with Soran." When he beams to the surface, he
materializes in a Federation-type transporter beam - not Klingon.
This is inconsistent with the Klingon transporter beam seen
earlier in the movie.
Star Trek : First
Contact
A member of the crew reports
that the Borg have taken over deck 26, but Picard tells Lily
there are 24 decks.
In a zero-gravity scene,
several minor effects reveal gravity's true pull. Most notably,
gas let out of the ship by Picard's rifle shot falls back 'down'
after a few moments. Similarly, a shower of sparks in the
background fall 'down' towards the ship.
Star Trek :
Insurrection
In the scene where Data and
Picard discover the cloaked holoship, they and Anij paddle a
small boat out to the ship with Picard on the left and Data on
the right. After Data opens the holoship's doors with his
tricorder, the next shot shows Data suddenly on the left side of
the boat and Picard on the right.
When Picard beams over to the
collector, he is transporting from the Son'a ship, but the
transporter beam is a blue Federation transporter beam, not a
yellow Son'a beam. Also, when Riker hails him from the
Enterprise, he should not have been able to hear him as he
wasn't wearing a communicator.
Star Trek : Nemesis
There is no attempt to
explain why Worf is once again tactical officer on the
Enterprise despite accepting the position of Ambassador to the
Klingon homeworld at the end of DS9 three years earlier. An
unused line from one draft of the script features a conversation
between Worf and Dr Crusher at the wedding in which Worf says
the life of a diplomat is not for him.
